Building upon the award-winning performance of its predecessor, SonicFill 2 SingleFill Composite System is engineered to retain the important features that facilitate a reliable bulk fill procedure, while adding key improvements in polishability, overal aesthetics, wear resistance and working time. Adaptation. SonicFill 2’s composite incorporates a highly-filled proprietary resin with special modifiers that react to sonic energy. As sonic energy is applied through the handpiece, the modifier causes the viscosity to drop (up to 84%), increasing the flowability of the composite, enabling quick placement and precise adaptation to the cavity walls. Marginal Integrity & Shrinkage Stress. SonicFill 2 has lower shrinkage stress than other bulk fill or conventional composites, to help ensure marginal integrity and reduce post-operative sensitivity. Depth of Cure. SonicFill 2 uses refractive index matching and a more efficient curing mechanism to allow polymerization depths up to 5mm, while still retaining enough opacity to produce a good aesthetic result. Mechanical Properties & Aesthetics. SonicFill 2 uses a new nano-scale zirconium oxide filler system, which provides excellent strength, polish, wear resistance and other important mechanical properties to ensure great looking restorations that will last. Working Time. SonicFill 2 special formula has less sensitivity to ambient light with 35% more working time than the original version of SonicFill.
